Troy Majoue is an experienced litigation and transactional attorney whose practice encompasses all aspects of business litigation, transactions, and consulting in multiple industries, including construction, restaurants, franchising, hospitality, telecommunications, insurance, and manufacturing. His experience includes representation of companies in commercial litigation matters in state and federal courts across the country, contract negotiations and disputes, franchising issues, construction and surety litigation, company formation and dissolution issues, intellectual property disputes, regulatory compliance issues, insurance coverage disputes, employment actions, and fraud and deceptive trade practice actions. Troy has also represented creditors, trustees, and corporate debtors in all aspects of the bankruptcy process.
Troy takes both a personal and practical approach to legal matters. That begins with getting to know each client and the details of their business, legal issues, and goals. Troy always endeavors to help his clients avoid risk, litigation, and uncertainty wherever possible through careful planning, precise drafting, and detailed documentation. However, in the event that the inevitable dispute or litigation arises, Troy has the experience to vigorously pursue or defend his clients’ best interests in any forum and work for the most practical and efficient resolution.
Troy received his undergraduate degree in 2002 from Louisiana State University, where he also received his law degree in 2005. Troy is licensed to practice in both Texas and Louisiana. He was named to the Texas Rising Stars list by Thomson Reuters as published in Texas Monthly in 2013 and 2014.
Having been born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, Troy loves both cooking and indulging in every type of food he can find. To balance out of his love of food, Troy is a fitness enthusiast and enjoys both watching, and training in, mixed martial arts. Troy is also very active in his local church congregation where he assists with the youth groups and boy scouts.
